Houszu ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered real estate platform that connects buyers, sellers, agents, brokerages, and service providers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile apps, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, password, and profile photo.
  • Location information: city, state, and ZIP code you provide during onboarding or search.
  • Property information: details you enter when creating FSBO listings, home valuations, or service requests.
  • Communication preferences: how you prefer to be contacted (email, phone, text).
  • Professional information: license number, brokerage affiliation, production data, and compensation preferences (for agent and brokerage users).

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, and timestamps.
  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

Information from Third Parties

  • MLS and public property listing data.
  • Google account data when you connect your calendar or sign in with Google.

3. AI and Automated Processing

Houszu uses artificial intelligence to generate insights, match profiles, score leads, and provide coaching. Your profile data, property information, and activity may be processed by AI models to deliver these features. We apply PII redaction before sending data to external AI services where feasible.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

With Other Users

Our AI Match feature uses anonymous matching by default. Your identity is only revealed to another party after mutual interest is established or you explicitly approve disclosure. FSBO listings display seller-provided property details publicly.

With Service Providers

We share data with trusted vendors who support our Platform, including payment processing (Wix Payments), email and SMS delivery (Customer.io), cloud hosting, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specific retention periods are defined in our Data Retention Policies, available in the Legal Review Center. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).
